Baking Soda Soak & Air Out Chemical Odor. *by L***A on Reviewed in the United States on October 6, 2019* A longtime massage slide wearer who stands on an Ah-Q-Pressure massage pad at sinks and shower, I'm used to their discomfort detoxing congested foot zones to the rest of my body. But to buffer these unusually thin and pointed specific zone nodules, at first I had to wear socks until the nodules softened and/or my sales thickened. But I will continue to wear socks with them for winter warmth, topped by open toe/heel elastic compression stocking spat kneesocks. So to accommodate the socks (and sometimes spats), for my Ladies Wide Size 7 foot I should have bought an 8 in these Medium width, though the faux-kid soft padded vinyl top band accommodates my wide foot and high arch instep without socks. The horrendous manufacturing chemical odor dissipated after 24-hour soak in Baking Soda + LaFayette Miracle neutralizing unsoap in cool water followed by airing out the odor now amazingly gone. The rocking took a few minutes of getting used to but I like more forward and back range of motion for foot/andkle/heel/leg; and I like heels dropping down in back, stretching Achilles tendon and calves. And though the sole is hard, it's thick for anti-fatigue; and arched in the center as should be, not elevated at back causing swayback and harming neck/spine/posture/central nervous system "computer" for entire body.
