In the last 4 days we have used only this to keep both of our phones charged. The unit did this job very well and still had power to spare. The solar recharges as it was designed to do and the unit recharges from the computer quickly. It is also built like a rock and the light is crazy bright. You have to fully charge it connected to power for 12 hours before the first use. After that the instructions state to charge it 2 to 3 times from power before placing it in the sun to charge. And then as all solar charged products it will take some time to charge in the sun.It has two USB ports to charge two devices at once. You can get an average of three full charges from the device. It has a flashlight and a compass.
