I can’t get the pumpkin out of them.** A: Sorry, I haven't used those particular tools yet. I usually use twist drills held between fingers and thumb for holes. You might try to insert a flat blade screwdriver and carefully turn it as you try to pull pumpkin out. Might work for the big one anyway. Sorry I can't be more help. **Q: Are the Carving tools with the wooden handles sharp enough to detail the pimpkin?** A: For the most part. I found that they do bend if you are working on a pumpkin with a a harder outer skin. I will tell you to be careful with the ones that make a hole. The sculpting tools seem good for detailed work, but the handles are just a bit too small. Part of the handle came off on one of the tools but it seemed to work just fine. I did notice that if you put too much pressure on the wire sculpting tools, than it would bend a little (something I would imagine would rectify itself with experience, however I did find myself correcting the tool quite often), and the spatula seemed a little flimsy when scraping the inside.
