We were a little hesitant to pay so much for it, but when it arrived we got super excited. It’s beautiful and well made.It’s definitely a Victorian Baroque style with feminine details, as was popular at the time for men. So if you’re looking for a “pirate” shirt you need to choose another style. It is a semi-sheer fabric with lace details on the cravat and sleeves and intricate enameled buttons.The only negative thing that we had to say about the shirt is that the sleeves are very long. He has long arms already and they were still extra long. Luckily, he wore a jacket with the top and it helped keep the sleeves in place which worked for us.I would completely recommend this top to complete a costume/outfit!
