I have fine, straight and highly porous hair. While it seemed to smooth my hair somewhat, it felt heavy, almost waxy, as if I hadn't rinsed it out well. No silky or shiny look to my hair after 10 minutes. There was nearly no slip to it, at least in my hair. I'm chalking it up to my hair type. I'll use the product until it's gone, maybe it'll get better with more use or maybe I had more damage than I realized or maybe not damaged enough?
