I ran mine a little differently and ran them into the harness of the original fog lights on my Chevy 2500 since the fog lights that came on the truck are gone. But just know if you’re going to run the button into the cab it’s going to be tough because at one end is the switch and at the other end is a big half inch wide connector so you’re not going to be able to get it through a very small hole in your firewall.
