Anti-Shine Matt Varnish seals your painted models with a clear protective coat, helping your hard work stay looking its best on the tabletop. - 🌑 Get a flat, matt finish that removes unwanted shine from painted miniatures while allowing metallic paints to retain their metallic appearance. Ideal for realistic, non-glossy finishes on Warhammer armies, Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) characters, historical miniatures, and model kits. - 🎨 Seal your miniature once your paintwork is completely finished and dry. Use Anti-Shine as the final protective step after painting with Warpaints Fanatic, Speedpaint, Quickshade, or other miniature paints to help protect your finished colour scheme from handling and everyday wear. - 💨 For smooth, even protection, shake the can for at least 1 minute before use. Test spray first, hold 10–12 inches (25–30 cm) from the miniature, and apply multiple thin coats, allowing each coat to dry before adding the next. Avoid spraying in extreme heat, cold, or humidity. - 🖌️ Choose the finish that suits your miniature. Anti-Shine Matt Varnish creates a flat, non-reflective finish, while Aegis Suit Satin Varnish adds subtle sheen. The Army Painter also offers brush-on and airbrush varnishes, giving you different ways to protect your finished miniatures. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B005WH4C2S | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Brand | The Army Painter | | Brand Name | The Army Painter | | Color | Matt Varnish | | Color Code | #A9A9A9 | | Container Type | Can | | Coverage | Great coverage with just one layer | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 16,108 Reviews | | Dry Time In Hours | 24 | | Finish Type | Matte | | Full Cure Time | 48 hours | | Included Components | Canvas Board | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Outdoor | | Is Waterproof | False | | Item Form | Aerosol | | Item Volume | 400 ml | | Item Weight | 0.37 kg | | Manufacturer | The Army Painter | | Model Name | Army Painter - Matt Varnish Spray | | Model Number | CP3003 | | Paint Type | Acrylic | | Part Number | CP3003 | | Size | 13.5 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) | | Special Feature | Fast-Drying | | Special Features | Fast-Drying | | Specific Uses For Product | Exterior | | Surface Recommendation | Metal | | UPC | 742359839794 788623664310 | | Unit Count | 13.5 Fluid Ounces | | Water Resistance Level | Waterproof | ## Product Details - **Brand:** The Army Painter - **Color:** Matt Varnish - **Finish Type:** Matte - **Item Volume:** 400 ml - **Paint Type:** Acrylic - **Size:** 13.5 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) - **Special Feature:** Fast-Drying - **Specific Uses For Product:** Exterior - **Surface Recommendation:** Metal - **Unit Count:** 13.5 Fluid Ounces ## Images ![Anti-Shine Matt Varnish for Miniature Painting, 400ml - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61CTG3YDohL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect white primer for my DnD miniature painting nights 🎲 *by L***L on September 28, 2026* I spend my weekend evenings painting DnD miniatures for my weekly tabletop game. Honestly its my fault I just suggest spraying it for a few seconds before first use. Other than that it spread great and had great coverage. I actually used the whole can and intend to buy a replacement! I let mine dry for 24 hours before painting. ## Frequently Bought Together - The Army Painter Anti Shine Matt Varnish for Miniature Painting - Acrylic after Quickshade Protector Spray Varnish for Miniatures - The Army Painter | Colour Primer | Acrylic Spray Matte White 400 ml, Miniature Painting Primer - The Army Painter | Colour Primer | Matt Black | 400 mL | Acryllic Spray Paint for Tabletop Roleplaying, Boardgames, and Wargames Miniature Modelling --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/7730975-anti-shine-matt-varnish-for-miniature-painting-400ml](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/7730975-anti-shine-matt-varnish-for-miniature-painting-400ml) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
