Is it in a gel cap?** A: I don't take Now; I use Jarrow Mk-7, which is K-2 as Menaquinone 7. You should be taking Mk-7 (as described on the Jarrow label), D-3 (I use Now's D-3), Strontium, Magnesium, and Calcium to build bones. **Q: what form is the K2? MK7?** A: There is Menaquinone-4, MK-4 & Menaquinone-7, MK-7. The Menaquinone-7 is much better for humans than the Menaquinone-4. MK-4 is a synthetic product, MK-4 has a very short biological half-life of about one hour, making it a poor candidate as a dietary supplementI have found many times that companies that do not clearly state Menaquinone-7 or MK-7 usually it is because it is the much less effective MK-4. The bottle contains 120 capsules. Each capsule contains 3 mg of vitamin C which is very tiny and I am not sure why it is incorporated. There is 1000 units of D3 and 45 micrograms of K2. They recommend 1 to 2 capsules a day. I use one daily in the am. The address for Now Foods is 395 S. Glen Ellyn Rd in Bloomingdale, Illinois 60108.
