I could not be happier with the results. Personally, I didn't think the noise was bad, but I drive a 15 year old Subaru, so it's noisy anyway. My boat was secure, and I was able to load and strap it alone. The ONLY downside is that hard rain will come in(they suggest towels, but that's not practical). After my trip, the pieces easily fit back in the storage bag. Overall, these are great if you don't have other options.

I love to kayak, but have a tiny car. I bought this because it was affordable enough that I wouldn't be extremely angry if it didn't work out. I could not be happier with the results. Personally, I didn't think the noise was bad, but I drive a 15 year old Subaru, so it's noisy anyway. My boat was secure, and I was able to load and strap it alone. The ONLY downside is that hard rain will come in(they suggest towels, but that's not practical). After my trip, the pieces easily fit back in the storage bag. Overall, these are great if you don't have other options.
