The falling sand is quite lovely and has a nice calming effect. The product was very well packaged and there were no problems with the condition it was received in. I thought this might be a frankly kinda lame gift, nice but unextraordinary, but my husband loves it and it is beautiful and well crafted. Unlike a normal square sand picture, you can tilt this one. So I tilt it a bit to get a proper bubble layout, then when it's moving too fast or too slow, I can tilt it to a new position.
