No stopping at more than one grocery store to get the fresh Rosemary or the garlic powder, etc. So I needed a flank steak, and I was prepared to make a trip to the store to get it. Then I added it to my "recipe order" and I'm sure glad I did. I highly recommend the video "How to Cook Steak on Coals" by Alton Brown on youtube. This is the BEST method for a fast and easy steak. Oh gawd do I love the beefy flavor in the flank, it just might have surpassed a rib-eye steak as my favorite. Normal grilling is fine too, but don't cook it to grey throughout or it will be too tough to chew. Apply massive heat fast and crispy up the outside.
