Controls dust. Quick and accurate holes. *by P***P on August 8, 2018* I used this to cut 14 3" holes and it works excellent. Great at controlling the dust. I would not recommend it for anything other than drywall. The cutters while not available separately are easily removed and sharpened. After 14 holes, still very sharp. Make sure you dump the dust out between holes. If not it goes everywhere as soon as you start the drill. Follow the RPM guidelines. Dont clean with water. There is a ball bearing that spins in the center that could be damaged. I used compressed air and a rag. Save the box. This thing is sharp and the box keeps everything together and protects the cutters. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for recessed light holes *by E***D on June 24, 2017* I used this hole cutter to install 11 LedWaves PR15 ultra thin 6 inch recessed lights. It worked well cutting through 5/8 inch thick sheetrock. I set the blades after making 3 practice cuts in spare material. Even though I contacted a few ceiling joists in some of the holes and one nail, the blades remained fixed to the original setting and continued to cut well. There was no marked difference between the first and last hole cuts (see pics). Be sure to heed cautions on maintaining good control of the tool in case you encounter objects (such as joists in my case). This tool was definitely worth the price if you are interested in achieving consistent hole cuts in a fraction of the time with very little mess. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome tool, makes me want to cut holes! *by K***R on July 17, 2017* Bought this to install 10 speakers in my ceiling. This was the only one that received positive reviews of all the ones I looked at, also, it had the largest cutting radius. I can see why it received so many great reviews, it works great, and catches all of the dust so there is no mess to cleanup afterwards!
