Der Grund für die Anschaffung ist, dass wir hier extrem hartes Wasser um die 40° dh haben, das TDS-Messgerät sagt 545 ppm. Dieses Wasser zerstört sämtliche Haushaltsgeräte, ist für Pflanzen auf die Dauer tödlich, geht zum Zubereiten von Tee überhaupt nicht und auch zum Trinken schmeckt es schlichtweg nicht gut. Von daher hatte ich schon einen sehr großen Verbrauch an Black Forest Flaschenwasser und destilliertem Wasser in Kanistern. Der Aufbau der Anlage war ziemlich einfach, ich bin aber auch handwerklich halbwegs fähig. Wenn man absolut zwei linke Hände hat, sollte man sich vielleicht helfen lassen. Ist aber kein Hexenwerk. Eigentlich nur Kartuschen einschrauben, Schläuche auf die richtige Länge zuschneiden, Schläuche mit den Schnellverschlüssen anschließen, fertig. Wenn man die Anlage versteckt einbauen will und an der Spüle einen Wasserhahn dafür installieren möchte, ist der Aufwand natürlich ein wenig höher. Das habe ich aber nicht gemacht, da ich hier in der Mietwohnung keine Löcher in die Küchenarbeitsplatte bohren kann. Die Arka Anlage muss mit unserem schlechten Ausgangswasser natürlich auch kämpfen, man kommt aber in der Standardkonfiguration ohne Resin-Filter immerhin auf 20-25 ppm runter (*edit 2 Monate später: der Wert geht inzwischen sogar auf 16-18 runter), wenn man sie ein paar Minuten laufen lässt. Das ist dann nur noch weniger als 5% der ursprünglichen 545 ppm und ist eigentlich gar nicht schlecht, für eine Anlage mit so hohem Durchfluss. Aber wie gesagt, das Wasser muss ein paar Minuten laufen, bis der Wert so niedrig wird! Als ich das gemerkt habe, habe ich mir gleich noch das Arka Inline TDS-Meter zugelegt, sodass ich live beim Zapfen den ppm Wert verfolgen kann. Dieses Zubehör würde ich jedem empfehlen, da der Wert beim Beginn des Zapfens immer erst mal etwas höher liegt, wenn die Anlage ein paar Stunden nicht benutzt wurde! Der Durchfluss ist wie beschrieben bei mir, ich bekomme 1 L Wasser in 45 Sekunden. Das Abwasser ist ca. im Verhältnis 1:1,1 oder 1:1,2 habe ich nicht genau gemessen, nur so Pi mal Daumen geschätzt. Von dem her habe ich keine Beschwerden, der Durchfluss ist ziemlich gut. Das Wasser finde ich geschmacklich mit Black Forest vergleichbar und es macht sich bisher gut für alle Anwendungen (pur, Grüntee, Kaffee, Bügelstation, Pflanzen gießen und sprühen). Das Trinkwasser fülle ich einmal am Tag in braune Glasflaschen ab und lagere es im Kühlschrank, Brauchwasser fülle ich in 5l Kanister. Jetzt hoffe ich nur noch, dass unser extremes Wasser die Filter und vor allem die Membran nicht extra schnell verschleißt. Ich habe vor, die Vorfilter eher schon nach 4 statt 6 Monaten zu wechseln, um die Membran zu schonen. Das einzige, was die Anlage leider nicht hat, ist eine Auto-Spülfunktion mit Timer, die man beispielsweise im Urlaub gut gebrauchen könnte. Wenn man ein paar Wochen weg ist, steht das Wasser leider die ganze Zeit in der Anlage, was eventuell zu Verkeimung führen könnte. Hier wäre es sehr schön, wenn die Anlage sich täglich einmal automatisch spülen könnte. Diese Funktion gibt es in manchen anderen Anlagen (die allerdings auch viel teurer sind. *Ergänzung vom 16.10.23: die Anlage scheint sich tatsächlich doch selbst zu spülen, ich vermute so ca. einmal täglich. Das fiel mir erst auf, als ich einige Tage frei hatte und öfters zuhause war. Sie spült hin und wieder von alleine für ca. 10-15 Sekunden durch. Leider wird diese Funktion nirgends in der Beschreibung erwähnt.
