It has 2 way charging, either by solar or by a normal usb cable. No need to buy extra nokia pin charger to charge this lamp like D.light lamps. It has 2 brightness settings and even in the lower setting, it is easy for reading books at night. The higher brightness setting is powerful enough to light a small room but not as powerful as smartphone Camera Led flash. However it's satisfactory. Solar charging and USB works well.Build quality is super good. Solar charging works even in cloudy weather. Body is smooth to touch and plastic seems durable. The metal stand is easily detachable and has almost no Risk of breaking the plastic body while doing so. I broke my D.light s2 body while trying to remove it's metal stand from it's body. But that doesn't seem to be the case here. I don't think the product is entirely waterproof however it can withstand small amount of drizzle for a short time. Better not to expose it in rain for long duration for long life of lamp.Overall I would say it's a very good product. I purchased it from AVI TRADEX. The packaging as very good and it arrived on time. No broken parts or sounds inside the lamp. I would love to buy this product again if need arises. The charging in sun will allow overnight light on operation in the dimmer option. The USB charging is helpful for cloudy days.
