## Overview

The Lamello Zeta P2 is a dual-purpose biscuit joiner featuring an innovative vertical mechanical drive (VMD) system that oscillates the cutter for precise t-slot biscuit holes. Powered by a robust 800-watt motor, it offers dual depth adjustments for both standard biscuits and clamped P-systems. Precision CNC-machined aluminum reference surfaces ensure accuracy, while the included carbide cutter and drill jig housed in a durable systainer case make it a professional-grade tool designed for flawless wood joinery.

## Description

The new Zeta P2 machine is a dual purpose Biscuit joiner that works as a normal Biscuit joiner and can route slots for the clamped p rta connector. The machines innovative vmd (vertical mechanical drive) system will automatically oscillate the cutter up and down when it reaches maximum plunge forming a t-slot Biscuit hole. The P2 has dual depth adjusters. One with the standard 20, 10, 0, s, D, Max settings and a second with the clamped p settings for the vmd system. Its got a powerful 800W motor and utilizes the new Lamello flush reference BASEPLATE system with internal dovetail for the stop square. The Zeta P2 comes in a systainer carrying case and includes a drill jig for the p system.

Review: By far the best Powertool I own - To says this right away, this machine is extremely expensive, however, it is worth every penny. I also own a Festool Domino Joiner, but bought the Lamello Biscuit Joiner for its capability to use Lamello's other joining elements which are unique and not found anywhere else. It requires another cutter to be used for just biscuit joining. The machine itself is made to very tight tolerances. All fences are milled from Aluminum, not bent sheet metal like cheaper models available. Dust extraction fits perfectly to a Festool Vac. The machine comes with a wooden box and the t-slot cutter that is tequired for the Clamex joining elements. Using this machine for biscuit joining with the Lamello biscuits produces very accurate joints. I have also used the Lamello Clamex wood joining elements making knock-down cabinets. Works amazingly well with a handheld Powertool. All the jobs I have used the tool for were done almost dust free. Beside the price this is an excellent tool in addition to a Domino Joiner, but as always, you get what you pay for. I highly recommend this machine.

A: The difference is the type of cutter. 101402S is Lamello P2 w/ CARBIDE tooth cutter. 101402DS is same Lamello Zeta P2, except with a DIAMOND tooth cutter. Both do the same thing, except Diamond tooth cutter will last longer.

Awesome piece of equipment. Super accurate and easy to use. I also have the Festool Domineo, but I prefer to use this machine since it's so much simpler.
