It is not as hard as a wooden one nor flimsy. We had one put in our smaller bathroom at the same time we put a wooden one in our bigger bathroom. I liked the plastic more then the wooden one, so replaced the wooden seat. Also, the seat and lid go shut with just a nudge and don't slam like the wooden ones. **Q: how many pads on the seat that will rest on the toilet rim?** A: Two full size and two that are a third to a quarter the size of a regular pad. The larger two are to the rear of the seat. **Q: The description says it’s quick release but others are saying it’s not. If it’s not they need to take that out in the description** A: It is quick release, lift covers and pull it back. It snaps off the hinges when you pull.. Then just push back on.. It's number 10 in the instructions. ## Frequently Bought Together - Kohler K-20110-96 Brevia Elongated Toilet Seat with Grip-Tight Bumpers, Quiet-Close Seat, Quick-Attach Hardware, Biscuit - 2Pcs Toilet Seat Screws, Steel Toilet Seat Hinge Bolts and Nuts, Heavy Duty Toilet Seat Fastener with Plastic Nuts and Metal Washers, Toilet Hardware Replacement for Top Mount Toilet Seat Hinges - KOHLER 4636-RL-96 Cachet ReadyLatch Quiet Close Elongated Toilet Seat, Soft Close Lid, Compatible with Elongated Toilets, Biscuit --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/78124948-20110-96-brevia-slow-close-toilet-seat-elongated-toilet-seat](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/78124948-20110-96-brevia-slow-close-toilet-seat-elongated-toilet-seat) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
