It was advertised as 10 hours but exceeded expectations and lasts between 14 to 18 hours from my use so far. Switching modes and turning it off and on is simple enough. Important to note though is that the On and Off Switch applies to BOTH the ililumination and charging. Slight disappointment in that there were no purple/pink lights as shown in the photo.
