I am on my 3 one, have been trapped in motorhome twice. **Q: Will it fit a 2008 Forester** A: Not sur will fit Forrester If it looks identical on outside its the same inside. Ours only last 2 to 3 years. I keep a spare in RV at all times. If I install spare. I immediately order a new spare. They have a plastic part in the inside that breaks. I make sure RV is always level for door to operate correctly, but it still will break inside mechanism. I have not found a good replacement that does not have other types of problems. It is manufacture flaw. I belong to a few RV groups and we all confirm this info. So not to reinvent the wheel.
