It is not the standard concierge/valet umbrella size, which comes in at 60” that is used for 2 people (5ft.) This is just over 4ft. It is great for one full-size adult, or two lovebird teens. All that being said, this umbrella is phenominal & I am very happy as I purchased four of them! I drive an all black truck with red accents and thought it’d be really awesome to give each person their own umbrella during the rainy season. The handle is soft foam rubber and the open/close mechanism feels very solid. It sounds weird but it almost has a “Rubbermaid” feel to it(Which sounds odd) but feels dependable: Strong/Resilliant/Hard Rubber & Strong. The stem even has a carbon fiber style accent. As an added bonus, you can totally recreate the umbrella funeral scene by My Chemical Romance’s music video ‘Helena’. Haha!
