## Description

An Advanced World ; An Advanced Soldier ; An Advanced Arsenal Power Changes Everything

Review: If you have loved the Call of Duty games so far, this won't be much different. - Say what you want about Call of Duty, it is repetitive, the audience sucks, no inventiveness, etc etc etc… Me personally, I love playing Call of Duty. I have been playing it since Modern Warfare 2 was hailed as the epitome of multiplayer gaming, and haven't wanted to stop since. Now, I never got into waiting dreadfully long hours in front of game stop to be the first person to buy the game, but I own or have owned them all at some point or another. I have been ridiculed many times for playing CoD, but if you enjoy doing something, why stop? You can criticize whatever you want about any point or factor of this game, but the bottom line is, if you enjoy playing Call of Duty, you will enjoy playing CoD: Advanced Warfare. Campaign: I thoroughly enjoyed playing the campaign. It was relatively straight forward as the rest of them are, and the storyline was extremely easy to follow. There were a lot of similarities in this campaign compared to the past campaigns of earlier games, but that didn't lessen the excitement any. Everything ran smoothly on my 360, no glitches that I was aware of, and it looked great. Multiplayer: This is where some negatives come in. Playing multiplayer matches in CoD has always had its ups and downs. There is not a very high level of team working togetherness in randomly assembled matches, so most people tend to just fend for themselves in most of the gameplay. There is a wide variety of skill shown by those you play with, and each match is completely different. You can see people dominate one match, then snuff out the next. Multiplayer is where I found most of the lag and glitchiness in my playing, but that has everything to do with the fact that I am running a next gen game on a past gen console. It wasn't really meant to run on the 360, but yet they still made it work pretty well. I enjoy the way some of the maps change mid match, from volcanoes going off to crumbling buildings. It adds some awesome dimensions, especially with the added jumping height. The guns are great, and the damage is for the most part realistic. In closing, I want to reaffirm that I enjoy playing this game, and would recommend it to all those who have enjoyed playing CoD in the past.
Review: Cant go wrong with CoD! - Big fan of the CoD series. This one is pretty cool as it lets you use high tech weaponry; somewhat futuristic. Story line is good but easily beatable. Online multiplayer mode is probably the best feature of this game as Campaign mode seems to lack and is quite short. Online maps are good, some are great, and some are annoying. The most "annoying" feature is probably the ability to boost-jump while in online play. It makes it hard at first (if you're not used to it) to take down a player as they're practically flying around. But once you get used to that "feature" of game-play it starts to become fun again! I would recommend this to others as it's a good time killer and stress reliever

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this game have multiplayer mode**
A: Yes there is multiplayer but be advised there isn't a match on xbox 360 that I haven't seen where there wasn't someone glitching/exploiting and killing people through walls. If you want your moneys worth without the bad experience of cheaters then you should hold off on getting the game.

**Q: How rough is the language? Have an 11 yo who claims he is only one of his friends who doesnt have CoD games.**
A: There is constant f word, and gd as well as others, not appropriate for young people. Earlier versions of COD used this type of language only one time in each game, still unnecessary, but I can mute those rare sections by memory. No way with this one, I'm 59 and I still won't play it again.

**Q: In local offline multiplayer can you play against bots like black ops 2 and ghosts**
A: yes.

**Q: do you have to have Xbox gold for multiplier?**
A: To play any Xbox games online you need Gold.

*by D***0 on January 20, 2015*

There were a few hiccups in the campaign where there was some pretty stupid objectives where you didn't have a chance (i.e. shoot this tank with a missile launcher while your team "covers you"; AKA while your team dances with enemies next to you as they beat you down). Although those were pretty annoying, the campaign was still fun. There wasn't as much high tech gear to play with in the campaign as I thought there would be, however, and I probably enjoyed the Ghosts campaign a little more. As for multiplayer, it's mostly great. There are a few tweaks such as non-universal statistics (K/D and such is separate for each game mode), score streaks are customizable (add perks to them, but at a penalty of requiring more score to achieve - including making some score streaks persist through death for a significant penalty - great for players like myself who generally maintain a good, positive K/D but do not go on long streaks). The exo movement, though it took some getting used to, began to feel very natural and fun. And for those of you who would prefer to not use it, there are separate playlists with exo movement turned off, including TDM, and 3 others (I believe they are Kill Confirmed, S&D, and maybe Domination, but do not quote me on that)! There are a few new game modes, including a Capture The Flag I haven't tried much, and Uplink - a basketball type game where you have a neutral "satellite" that can be picked up, turning you into a juggernaut with melee only, and must be thrown or otherwise passed through the enemy's goal. Quite fun. There is, of course, a good amount of new gear to play with, though again, it doesn't feel quite as high-tech as they may have had you believe. In multiplayer, there is also an annoying, in your face cosmetic system, where you often receive some random cosmetic pieces, many of which are on a timer before they disappear. You can turn them in for xp, but only one at a time, and the whole thing seems pretty tedious. Though this may be something amazing for a player who loves outfitting in different sorts of looks.
