It is very lightweight yet very sturdy. It has many compartments that are easily accessible from the front and the main compartment has several compartments as well. The side pockets to hold drink bottles have an extra strap to keep things secure I use this part to hold a tripod for my camera. I travel a lot in Europe and I'm able to use it for hiking in the mountains carrying camera equipment as well as a night's worth of clothes. The chest strap is elastic and keeps weight stable the zippers are strong. It folds small in my checked bag which will makes it easy to take on all trips. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lightweight, easy to unfold and refold, pretty color also *by S***S on September 16, 2018* I am planning a trip to Hawaii. I am taking my toddler so I will already have more to carry than I can handle. I have included pictures of how it arrived. I also included pictures of a legal pad for size reference. The picture of the backpack closed up next to the pad is after I completed undid it and put our back together. The way it closes up is the front pouch so it isn't a separate pouch you have to keep track of.
