However, since this product was recommended by many for CGM and because their leave-in conditioner was good, I gave it a try. I was surprised that it lathered really well. To my surprise, one wash is enough to wash out coconut oil from hair. However, if you use heavier oil like olive or castor oil, two washes are required. I am really not sure if the formula has changed, but a dime-sized quantity was enough for my short fine hair. It also makes my hair softer. Doesn't strip off moisture even if I didn't oil my hair, like other shampoos. I just wish the price was lower.
