They warmed me at least a few degrees in the water. I can't speak to how long they will last as I have only used them 2 days, but they seem high quality. They are also true to size. I am 5' 4" and 150 and usually wear a large bottom in stuff made in China and the large was perfect. I will be returning them and opted to get the full length leggings instead.
