Will also bend back to shape if you roll/bend or if you remove objects from the top of it. I use this for a walking pad, and it fits perfectly and is true to size. I'm running a walking pad on carpet, and was worried about contact with the carpet, so I ordered this pad to go under it. No issues with the pad slipping or sliding once I get it in position, and no issues with the walking pad moving either. The only downside was maybe the smell, which is expected from anything of this material - just give it some time to degas, or even throw it outside in the sun for a day if you are worried. After a short period of time, the smell was gone, and I have had zero issues with this pad. Seems very quality for the price, folds up well if you don't need it, and has a nice thick cushion.
