Review: Product quality terrible! - I bought these for my little dog who is very picky about what she eats. I like the fact that they are 100% chicken breast and totally USA sourced and packaged. But even more than that, my picky little dog loves this treat! The pieces vary in size from about thumb size to crumbs, but my dog will lick all the crumbs out of her bowl to get every piece. But what a pleasant surprise that one of my cats likes these treats more than the dog! Now if I feed one, I have to give the other treats too or they snatch it from each other. I am very happy with this product. Update: I just ordered another container if the freeze dried chicken, and opened it today. The first thing I noticed was the dark brown color, then a weird chemical smell. The chicken was overly dry and I will not feed it to my dog or cats-it is going into the trash. I don't know what happened to Stewart's quality control, but this totally unacceptable. Buyer beware. Review: Great no-crush packaging low calorie dog treat - If you’re gonna buy this type of dog treat, I definitely recommend this company and this form of packaging. These little puffed chickens tend to get crushed in packaging. That’s just bags particularly one shipping or even if they’ve been stored on a shelf in a store. These come a nice solid, really hard, good quality bucket and they stay exactly to the form that they are supposed to a very little chicken dust at the bottom like other brands. I think in terms of taste, my dog absolutely love them. The thickness is good and these are very good low-calorie treat if you’re trying to manage your dogs weight. ## Features - Bulk Value Daily Training Treat or Meal Topper: Our 14.8 ounce tub of single ingredient freeze dried chicken breast contains up to 280 pieces, providing an 8 week supply of lean, high-protein rewards or food toppers for dogs and cats of all sizes - The Original Freeze-Dried Dog Treats: Made in the USA since 1973 in small batches using USDA-certified chicken breast sourced from reputable suppliers to ensure premium quality and safety for your pets; Supports muscle development and overall pet health - Professional Trainer Preferred & Award Winning Quality: Trusted by professional trainers for decades as a high value reward for obedience and performance training; Recognized by CNN Underscored as a top dog treat in December 2024; Safe for all life stages - Single Ingredient Nutrition for Versatility: Made with 100 percent chicken breast, these natural treats are grain free and gluten free without any fillers to provide a perfect food topper or snack for dogs and cats with food sensitivities or allergies - Nutrient-Dense Raw Nutrition: Gently freeze dried to lock in nutrients and flavor and packaged in a resealable tub to maintain freshness; Treat size will vary and the naturally-occuring powder works as a delicious meal topper; Store at room temperature ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0762PQR1P | | Additional Features | Freeze Dried, High Protein, Single Ingredient | | Age Range (Description) | All Life Stages | | Age Range Description | All Life Stages | | Allergen Information | Corn-Free, Gluten Free, Grain-Free, Non-GMO, Wheat Free | | Animal Food Diet Type | Limited Ingredient, Raw | | Animal Food Ingredient Claim | No Artificial Colors, No Artificial Flavors, Non-GMO | | Animal Food Nutrient Content Claim | High Protein, No Added Sugar | | Best Sellers Rank | #5,081 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) #441 in Dog Treat Cookies, Biscuits & Snacks | | Brand | Stewart | | Brand Name | Stewart | | Breed Recommendation | All Breed Sizes | | Container Type | Tub | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 2,200 Reviews | | Dog Breed Size | Medium | | Flavor | Chicken Breasts | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00073101002044 | | Included Components | dog treats | | Item Form | Freeze Dried | | Item Type Name | Dog Treats | | Item Weight | 14.8 ounces | | Manufacturer | BNG Miracle Pet, LLC | | Manufacturer Part Number | 401716 | | Model Number | 401716 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Occasion | Birthday | | Package Size Name | 14.8 Ounce Tub | | Pet Type | Cat, Dog | | Product Benefits | Freeze Dried Raw, High Protein, Lightweight, Natural, Supports muscle development | | Recommended Uses For Product | Meal Topper, Rewarding, Training | | Special Ingredients | Chicken Breast | | Specific Uses For Product | Easy Introduction to Raw Food, High Protein, Joint & Eye Health, Muscle Support & Healthy Coat, Safe for Puppies, Adult Dogs, Kittens, & Adult Cats Specific Uses For Product Easy Introduction to Raw Food, High Protein, Joint & Eye Health, Muscle Support & Healthy Coat, Safe for Puppies, Adult Dogs, Kittens, & Adult Cats See more | | Target Species | Dog | | UPC | 073101002044 | | Unit Count | 14.8 Ounce | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** All Life Stages - **Brand:** Stewart - **Flavor:** Chicken Breasts - **Item Form:** Freeze Dried ## Images ![Stewart Freeze Dried Dog Treats, 100% Chicken Breast, 14.8 oz Tub - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81-yNgxrz3L.jpg) ![Stewart Freeze Dried Dog Treats, 100% Chicken Breast, 14.8 oz Tub - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/818KICFNSKL.jpg) ![Stewart Freeze Dried Dog Treats, 100% Chicken Breast, 14.8 oz Tub - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81c8gNEdMXL.jpg) ![Stewart Freeze Dried Dog Treats, 100% Chicken Breast, 14.8 oz Tub - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/811V+jk6t7L.jpg) ![Stewart Freeze Dried Dog Treats, 100% Chicken Breast, 14.8 oz Tub - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91OTZMBOZpL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Product quality terrible! *by C***E on July 23, 2023* I bought these for my little dog who is very picky about what she eats. These come a nice solid, really hard, good quality bucket and they stay exactly to the form that they are supposed to a very little chicken dust at the bottom like other brands. The smell nearly knocked me over. Totally rancid, like bad oil. My husband described the smell as a weird chemical odor and said he was glad he did not have to eat it I'm unsure if these are freeze dried from cooked chicken (safer) or from raw chicken. Couldn't seem to find that on the container, and it would be nice to know. However, I did discover, based on the best by date printed on the bottom of the bucket, that the chicken was expired. I'm guessing that it might have also been stored in the heat. I have purchased freeze dried chicken from other brands, and my pets have always loved it. There were never any strong odors with those prior purchases from what I recall. Stewarts was cheaper, but not in the long run if unusable. One of our cats took a little nibble and walked away. Our dog, a large German Shepherd, wouldn't even try tasting the Stewart's brand. What a waste, especially for the chicken who died for nothing --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/78806076-stewart-freeze-dried-dog-treats-100-chicken-breast-14-8](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/78806076-stewart-freeze-dried-dog-treats-100-chicken-breast-14-8) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
