We wanted something that was VERY rocky, this was not quite that, he had to work harder to come back up than a rocking chair version. We did not assemble the stoppers, allowing him the ability to rock it back all the way down. As an adult I found it still. You can feel the wood frame in some parts, but it didnt phase him. All in all a good purchase. No rips/tears after a month.

It is ALMOST exactly what we were looking for. We purchased a similar chair a while ago that is not longer available so we replaced with this one. Pro:Provides sensory rocking, has some cusioning, affordable, looks cool, there's a QR code on the manual that takes you to a video for assembly, can limit so it doesnt go all the way back, or you can choose not to install the blocks, allowing it to go all the way back, comes with all screws and tools Cons: Assembly is a pain and, at one point it took 2 of us because it was so snug, not a comfy as other brands My 4th grade nephew loves this. Very sturdy frame and the cover skins fit perfect. Assembly is very strenuous but only needed some pain meds and patience to get them done.
