It looks so nice! Yes these are not wood but once they are on the wall, they look they are and that is all that matters. It is also a bonus that there are no miter gaps in the corners like traditional wood built frames. The material is lightweight but durable. I used 2" 18 guage brad nails and shot into the studs where I could and into the drywall where there were no studs. Recommend a thin bead of caulk on the outside and inside to finish it off.
