I've been searching around many places as well as web sites and couldn't find anything feminine, not showing a lot of cleavage (because I want to wear it for church), because it's that time of year when it's getting colder I really wanted long sleeves. The dress is beautiful and in my opinion, very well made. I would recomend to anyone with the same thoughts as mine, to get it. I added a wide black belt and that made the look complete. Perfect for me. Also, I'm 5'11" and it falls just above the top of my feet. I won't be worrying about wearing it in wet weather. It's definitely more polyester than anything else, feels similar to some of the smooth poly fabric from the 70s, but a bit more breathable. That would be the only downside I can really find. I've always liked the 70's maxi dress style & this did not disappoint!I bought it a size larger than I normally wear, since I wanted a loose, flowing fit. I'd normally wear a US L, since I'm very curvy & busty, but I ordered an XL. Glad I did, since the fabric is actually white, with the black color & flower patterns are all printed on, so, if it's stretched, the white color would show through.The fit is fantastic, not clingy at all but very drapey & flattering, with an empire waist, & the sleeves go to the middle of the backs of my hands (I love really long sleeves). It is longer than I like, hanging onto the floor, but that's what I expected when ordering a size up. I can very easily shorten the hem. The neckline was the best surprise, I thought it would be smaller (as shown in listing pics), but it's a great scoop neck fit, not "granny going to church" conservative but also not super low. Very autumn-y pattern which is exactly what I was going for. The pockets are of course a great feature too! This dress is a cotton blend so I feel it's more of a casual look. I originally thought I might wear it to a wedding (although I think with the right shoes and accessories it can be dressed up). I am 5ft and ordered a small. I wear it with wedge heeled boots which add a bit of height, but I will probably end up hemming it an inch or two.
