I use mine on the sofa. I'm one of those people who loses my glasses and the remote. I also crochet so the sofa beside me was always a mess of hooks, stitch markers, snips, I'd nowhere for my hands sanitiser pens always went walkabout... No more! Honestly some of the best money I've spent.Lots of room in the flat top "box" for a big cup, my markers box, hooks, hand cleaner and my glasses. Three larger pockets on the side holding pens, hooks (my glasses when I'm not using them) the remote if necessary but I tend to put it between the top and side pockets. There's a thin envelope pocket in that same side that I keep a note book in. On the far side is a large wide pocket envelope that holds everything from hand cream, a small brush, a packet of painkillers, a packet of cat treats and some other odds and ends. My sofa is now clear of everything except my yarn bowl.
