A lovely Yankee Candle Christmas Candle.

As the title says, I really like the smell of this candle. The description does it justice, and it's really pleasant to just take off the lid and inhale, before you even light it. Burning it has been more problematic. It was fine on the first burn, as the wax was still up to the neck, but subsequent burns into the full width of the jar have suffered badly from tunnelling. A quick Google suggests that you need to burn these for a minimum of 4 hours to prevent this, but I had this one lit, with a good flame, for 9 hours a couple of days ago, and it still hadn't melted to the edge, all of the way around. So your options are to either let it tunnel, and waste a load of wax (you could buy wicks and moulds and make new candles from it, I suppose) to try to fold the outer wax into the middle once it softens (doesn't look pretty) or to burn it for considerably longer than you really want or need to, again, wasting wax. I've bought two large candles already, but if the other one behaves the same, I'll only buy the smaller ones in future.
