A: I would estimate it at 5,000 heat units. I just opened my bottle of this stuff and dabbed it on my tongue next to my prior extract, which is 10,000 heat units. The Herb Pharm product was about half as strong. This explains why they don't list the heat units on the bottle, as most extracts that go for $10/ounce are at 10,000 heat units. Therefore, the herb pharm product is a ripoff.

**Q: Can I use this to make a pain salve? I need cayenne oil, but can't find it anywhere!**

A: First of all...this is an extract, not the red pepper plant itself. This medicinal is used for many things including arterial plague removal and an effective supplement against Candida. Second, this is an organic product, tabasco is not. This is a quality brand.

These drops are powerful, strong stuff. I just want to left fires beware. The first time if this is your first time trying them, you will have to adjust. It is strong and it takes a few drops and literally like half a glass. You will know it's in there. It's work. First time was can't say heat just intense tingle, but felt great all day. Energy since taking no once in awhile angina or anything. I recommend just remember i stated takes adjusting too!!
