It was hard giving up my extensive collection of almuminium pots and pans that I have used for the past 20-years. I bought a stainless steel saute pan to try several years ago and it just burned everything I cooked in it. When I landed on the CeraStone cookware set in my Amazon search and then went to the CeraStone website it was hard to beat the price for a 10 piece set.I like the red color of the pots, beats the anodionized black/gray of my aluminium pots any day. The ceramic coating is tough to beat, nothing sticks, just a short shot of a cooking spray is all you need. I like that I could use a lower heat setting using these pots and the stay cool handles do not require pot holders, I can safely remove a pot that has been simmiring on the stover for hours without burning. Cleanup is effortless, warm soapy water and a hot rinse and your done, no scrubing or soaking needed.Only a couple of negatives, paint on handles chip easily, I have a few nicks in mine already. On the 10-pc. set the cover on the large two handle pot doesn't fit the larger saute pan. You get two saute pans, but only the smaller one shares a cover with another pot. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My go-to pan for almost everything *by M***G on Reviewed in the United States on September 8, 2014* This 11 inch ceramic pan works really well, but took me a few uses to master.Until you learn the timing for the heat, start off using low heat and increase slowly as needed, as it gets hotter (and heats more quickly) than some other cookware. I use it for eggs, sauces, stir-fry, fish...almost everything since it has deep sides. This pan is well-built with a solid, stay-cool handle that feels good in the hand, making the pan easy to lift when filled with food. It's medium weight (heavier than my old teflon pans, but not quite as heavy as cast iron). I only wish I had a lid for it. Don't stack any other pans inside it and be sure to use appropriate utensils (bamboo, high heat resistant nylon or silicone). If it ever gets cracked or chipped, it will be unusable. What I've learned about ceramic cookware from owning this pan is that it is 1) easy to clean I almost always just wipe it out with a paper towel to remove any oils. For anything that is "baked on", I use a soft brush and hot water without dish soap 2) cooks evenly 3) is completely non-scratch and non-stick 4) doesn't leach any toxic chemicals.I would buy this brand again in a heartbeat. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ CeraStone Pressure Forged 10-piece Ceramic non stick cookware set *by D***R on Reviewed in the United States on March 25, 2014* This is a first impression review and if my opinion changes then I will update my review. So far I am in love with these pans! They were really beautiful coming out of the box and looked real sturdy too. The bottoms of the pans have little circles to help them grip the stove so the may not work well on a flat stove top. When I washed them I noticed some of the black coloring did come off. Just cooked with them today with no oil and nothing got stuck to the pan! I even noticed they placed the handles farther apart so they didn't get hot! I hope they hold up well. Now I wish I had a second set. Besides the bleeding color I think my only other negative would be not having a large skillet.
