Review: Great wallpaper paste - I used Zinsser Sure Grip wallpaper paste for a recent project, and I was really impressed with how easy it was to work with. The consistency is smooth and spreads evenly without being too thick or runny, which made applying it much less messy than I expected. It gave me plenty of working time to position the wallpaper correctly, but once it set, it held everything firmly in place with no peeling or bubbling. I also appreciated that it didn’t have an overwhelming odor, which made the whole process more pleasant. Cleanup was simple with just warm water, and I didn’t have issues with staining or residue. Overall, this paste made what could have been a stressful project feel very manageable. I’d definitely use it again and recommend it to both beginners and experienced DIYers. Because of the small quantity in the bucket, I believe it's intended for use with border paper. Lowes and Home Depot carry gallon size buckets for the same price as this one. I hung 4 double rolls with it and still have half of the bucket leftover. **Q: Can you glue this on top of wallpaper?** A: It will work on top of old wallpaper. Just be sure the d paper is adhered to the wall well and this will adhere the new product to the old paper. **Q: Can I use the 3-D tiles on the ceiling?** A: Yes, it works really well, once you put it on hold it for 2 seconds then it will start to dry. It works very well. **Q: can it glue concrete with PVC?** A: I do not understand what you are asking. It certainly cannot glue a pvc pipe to concrete. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great wallpaper paste *by K***A on 7 April 2026* I used Zinsser Sure Grip wallpaper paste for a recent project, and I was really impressed with how easy it was to work with.
