It is insufficient minimum 15 meter should be provided. **Q: What is double phase?** A: This is single phase motor / pump that uses a single phase wire and neutral and requires a nominal 240 vac input. The machine is capable of running on lower voltage also. The concept of double phase is not common in India since heavier machines are three phase units that use 440v ac namely 440 v between any two phases and 220 between phase and neutral. Having said that two phase machines are common in places where 110v ac is used like in the US.
