Review: Stay petty my friend - These are my petty answer when my boss told me I had to get rid of my composite work boots and go buy awful redwing boots that had the same guards. Just an FYI, I hate Redwing boots they destroyed my feet and I found out why is because they have composite or metal on the inside of the soul for insulation for electricians which destroy the bottom of my feet.
Review: Wear Well, Untested - Ranch/farm hand here. Haven't had any foot crushing opportunities to test them, yet, but I've been wearing them daily at work for several months now. I never had them come unhinged, like some reviewers say. My only complaint is that no one makes work gear for women, the predrilled holes are too wide for anything smaller than a W11/M9-ish boot. Had to rig them with cable and locking biners to keep them close fitting and stable. Frustrating. I wish they were a more universal fit, but at least any of my boots have met guards now! (Try finding good work boots for women 🙄 these open up a LOT of options) Pluses, they keep grit and water out of my laces, light weight.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Are they ansi approved?**
A: ANSI and ASTM do not approve aftermarket Safety components.  Their focus is on full Safety Footwear.  The MetGUARDZ have been tested to and fully surpassed the performance criteria of ASTM for metatarsal protection.

**Q: How does it attach to the shoe or boot?**
A: The bottom picture shows how they are attached.
The bottom portion is laced on to the boot and top portion attaches through the laces

**Q: How does this attach to the shoe?**
A: This particular version (SEN-600) is attached using the laces on your shoes.  We have other versions available for shoes without laces.

**Q: Why don't you just sell one version of the product with both the lace option and the straps? it really does seem silly for you to sell two versions.**

Thank you for your question. We will take your comment into consideration in future product development discussions. We find most of our customers require either one or the other. For those who require both, we recommend purchasing the SEN-600 with a pack of SEN-610's (the straps by themselves). Unfortunately the SEN-610's are out of stock at the moment, but we will be getting them back in stock as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience.

I bought these STLFLX METGUARDZ for my Keen Tuscan soft toe boots because the boots are very comfortable and my job requires foot protection. Reading some of the reviews I was a little apprehensive but that completely went away the 1st 10 hour day I wore them. These STLFLX MATGUARDZ stayed on all day. They stayed in place and they never “flopped” around. They never got in the way at all. They never came apart like someone reviewed earlier stated. They are not radically noticeable which is another thing I like. They are a good purchase.
