Not only is this a waste of water, this means there is a bigger weed problem I have to deal with since now I am essentially watering the weeds.These plugs work quite well in plugging up any old branches you don't want to use anymore. Although installation just involves pushing the plugs into the holes themselves, some of these plugs are not 100% leakproof. I would say you may still see a drop of water every few seconds coming from some of the plugs, although it is definitely better than no plug at all.Removing these plugs seems to be very difficult due to the way the barb is designed. I believe these are designed really to be installed once and not touched again. You may still be able to remove it with enough force, although you may end up warping the main tubing which can then cause a leak that is more difficult to repair...
