I ordered one for my husband also. The bags came in the day before they left so I did not read any instructions, except how to close it. After a 23 mile trip in the river, in the rain, everything in the bag was soaked. Towels, phones, lunch. So I'm not sure if the bag did not perform or if we subjected it to too much water.
