This is not the case with the Rio Gear Beach Big Kahuna. I’m a big guy.. approx 250lbs. I’m always afraid that the chairs are gonna rip or snap. This chair is super sturdy. The arm rest is very comfortable with at least 5 settings of recline. It has a nice high back, where I actually can rest my head upon.. I’m 6’1”in height. I like the side zippered pocket and Velcro smaller pocket too. It also has a mesh bag that can hold a drink. It’s easy to fold and carry with the attached shoulder strap. I’m finally able to say that I found the beach chair that’s right for me.
