What is this blend with?** A: according to the bottle it says it's 100% pure therapeutic grade. It has a very powerful smell, and a little goes a very long way. I have no complaints about it. The bottle is small as stated on the oz. I bought another because I enjoyed the smell. **Q: can i mix this in my witch hazel for aftershave needs?** A: Yes you could. Just add one drop at a time, it's very potent in scent. Amber oils can be used on skin. **Q: Does this smell just like the amber resin that comes in the little boxes?** A: I'm not sure about the little boxes thing, but this stuff is great. It is concentrated, and at first may seem questionable, but if diluted (my preference was 10:1) it is addicting. It smells very smooth, warm, and beyond that words don't tell. It sounds like too much praise, but it's a good product, and doesn't smell soapy, or sting the nose. 5mL is not very much, so don't get too carried away or panic that it doesn't fill the bottle. It will actually be easier to use if diluted - like for example 1-2 ml mixed into 5 oz of coconut oil mix well and allow to harden and meld for a week or so. This oil is quite thick and dark. MY one problem with the order is that the bottle leaked in shipment - I could smell it as soon as the mail arrived!. The bottle was well packed and was in an inner sealed plastic bag - I just had to put gloves on and clean it up with some alcohol - not really a big deal to me.
