**Q: Dear bose, how would i connect this sound system (e.g. 500 bar + sub) to my stereo to play cds, blu ray, records etc through the system?**

The best way to connect your stereo would be to route it through an input on your TV, this would then allow you to play out through the Soundbar 500.

Thanks for your question! Yes it can if connected via HDMI ARC with CEC enabled.

**Q: Can i use this sound bar with the bose 700 sub the same way i would use the 500 sub and also is it worth the upgrade for some music**
A: Yes, the Soundbar 500 is compatible with the Bass Module 700. Do note, if you wish to have two bass modules attached, these need to be the same model.
