I used 4 cups into a large load of laundry, let the water fill up in the washing machine and let it soak for 12-24 hours depending on how bad the smell is. Let air dry or use a fan to speed curing times. If area still smells treat more than once with a reduced product like 25/1. As you treat a thinner mix is all you will need because it will continue to depleted the bacteria that is causing the order. I had extensive damage caused by multiple cats in a rental. I had to replace flooring and sheet rock in specific locations but the rest of the house was treated like I explained. We .moved in have not noticed a lingering of the pet smell. Remove as much of the urine on the artificial turf as possible. Then spray on the Anti-Icky-Poo on the turf, covering all areas. The product must touch the contamination for it to work. Leave and allow to dry. If needed, do a repeat application. It is a safe enzyme/bacteria combination and will not harm the animals. However, keeping the animals off while it is working does help the effectiveness of the product.
