I know people who have tried these sort of things and you never seem to get the same answer off those as to how effective they are and I think I know why for some people these are really good and others it's a case of not much at all and I think it's all down to age and stains.I'm 54 and like most people, although my teeth are still in really good condition the dentine, which is the outer white layer, has become thinner and that basically means for many older people teeth naturally become that little bit yellower and no amount of bleaching or gel or any treatment other than something offered by a dentist and is much more intensive is going to make a difference but also in the long run more damaging as if your dentine layer is already compromised then the last thing you want to do is make it more thinner/sensitive etcBecause neither I or my daughter do all those sorts of teeth damaging things such as smoking, wine or coffee stains I can't really show you a good before and after picture, plus I had a horrible cold sore and even though I did try to take a picture of the before teeth that cold sore was just horrible lol. But I am being honest when I say for me personally not much difference but my Daughter who has used this sort of product before sings its praises but again she doesn't have any massive staining so what she says is she can see just that little bit of lightning.I will say though after a week it suddenly dawned on me that there was an improvement because of course I've been inspecting my teeth very closely almost on a daily basis and like most people I really do try to brush my teeth well and miss out nothing but the edges of your teeth especially when they are close to the next tooth along do get a little bit overlooked when tooth brushing so I made sure to press the gell into the gaps between each tooth and I did see a really an improvement there.I keep on including my daughter as I actually split this packet with her. You get 2 strips 1 for the top set and 1 for the bottom set and I didn't really need to use the bottom set and that strip actually fitted my daughters top teeth so I cut them off and she used them at the same time as me.The product itself is a strip with a thick gel coating on it and you peel it off and press the sticky gel side against your teeth, and as mentioned make sure to use your nail to work the gel into all the edges. You do feel a bit funny at first but it's actually tacky enough that once pressed to your teeth it just stays there and you don't have to sit with your lips pulled wide back. Best of all is its non-nasty flavour. The packaging has mint leaves on which is why I decided to try this but really although it has a coolness to it there wasn't any strong mintiness but again neither was there any unpleasant taste either.You will need to brush your teeth afterward as that gel layer is really thick but does come off easily with simple teeth brushing.So basically I think products like this are more beneficial to those with surface staining rather than the natural thinning of dentine but again there was that improvement at the edges and of course any encouragement to brush your teeth with more care and attention is all good. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really Works, Good Price *by H***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 October 2018* I am about half way though the box and there is a discernible difference in the whiteness of my teeth. I'm very encouraged with results and I shall be continuing with the remainder of the strips to see just how white they become.At the start of the process, I found it a little tricky lining up the strips to my teeth, but by the third day I found it much easier. I can say it pretty much works... it made my teeth one shade whiter and very clean.The package comes with 28 stripes to use (both for the upper and bottom of your teeth) and you need to keep them on between 15 and 30 minutes. To keep the stripes on is kind of difficult. They stick quite well to the teeth but the gel drips a little. I would suggest to do not talk while you have them on.Once the time is passed, I took them off and brushed my teeth more than once to assure the gel wasn’t sticking.Overall it made my teeth clean and shiny, but it’s definiyely something to do quite often to keep the effect going. I would say between one or two times per week to see a proper difference.
