I've always wanted a Times edition of the World atlas and i finally have it. For anyone who is considering this book, because lets face it, it's a huge outlay of cash even at the price i paid, it truly is a wonderful thing to behold when you open it - the large scale maps are beautifully printed, sharp and fabulously detailed - i wish my grandma was still alive to see it - i always think of her with an atlas open on her lap and i know she would have loved this book. It weighs in at over 5 kg and both height and width it's huge. Not something you'll fit in your average bookshelf. Saying that it's more than fit for purpose.
