Its surface prevents ink bleed and feathering, ensuring sharp, clean lines, while the sturdy paper resists buckling and show-through. The top-glued binding keeps sheets secure during use and allows clean removal, making it perfect for professional illustrators, designers, and students seeking premium quality and ample workspace. ## Description This A3 Bristol pad holds 50 sheets of smooth white 180gsm paper, made for work where the line itself is the finished piece. Pen, ink, fine liner, markers and pencil all sit cleanly on the surface, so what you draw is what appears on the page. A3 at 29.7 x 42 cm gives you twice the working area of A4. Full-page comic panels, fashion plates, architectural sketches, storyboards and layout roughs fit on one sheet at the size they were meant to be drawn, instead of being split or scaled down. The smooth Bristol finish keeps ink on top of the sheet rather than letting it spread into the fibres, so hairlines stay sharp, hatching stays even and solid blacks stay free of blotching. At 180gsm the sheet takes layered ink, marker rendering and repeated erasing without buckling, and it is heavy enough to prevent show-through on the reverse. The glued top binding holds every sheet steady while you work and releases it cleanly when the piece is done. Illustrators, graphic designers, comic and manga artists, fashion and architecture students, calligraphers and technical draughtsmen use it for line art, inking, layouts, plans and coursework. How many sheets are in the pad ? 50 sheets of 180gsm white Bristol paper. How much bigger is A3 than A4 ? Exactly twice the surface area, at 29.7 x 42 cm. Does ink bleed through to the back ? No, 180gsm stops show-through under normal pen and ink work. Is it suitable for alcohol markers ? Yes for rendering, though heavy flooding will spread as it does on any Bristol sheet. What else is in the range ? The same Bristol in A4, a 75gsm marker pad and 200gsm drawing paper. In the box : 1 A3 Bristol pad with 50 sheets of 180gsm smooth white paper. ## Features - SMOOTH BRISTOL SURFACE, CRISP AND CLEAN LINES : Ink sits on the surface instead of spreading into the fibres, so lines stay sharp with no feathering and no bleed. Ideal for technical illustration, fine liner work, marker rendering and pen and ink drawing. - A3 AT 29.7 X 42 CM, DOUBLE THE WORKING SURFACE OF A4 : The room you need for full-page comic panels, fashion illustration, architectural sketching and layout work, without splitting a drawing across two sheets or working smaller than you want to. - 180GSM HEAVYWEIGHT THAT STAYS FLAT : Thick enough for layered ink, wet media and repeated erasing without buckling or cockling, and heavy enough to stop show-through on the reverse. Works with pen, ink, felt tip, fine liner, markers and pencil. - 50 SHEETS WITH GLUED TOP BINDING : A professional quantity for ongoing projects, studio work and coursework. The binding holds every sheet steady while you draw and releases each finished piece cleanly, ready for a portfolio or a large format scanner. - GERMAN PAPER MILL SINCE 1784 : Schoellershammer has produced professional art paper in Germany for over two centuries, and the yellow and black cover is its quality mark. Also available in A4, plus a 75gsm marker pad and 200gsm drawing paper. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B06XXYN3QR | | Best Sellers Rank | 72,655 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) 266 in Drawing Pads & Books | | Brand Name | Schoellershammer | | Colour | Black/White | | Country Of Origin | Germany | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (145) | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04053146004186 | | Item Dimensions L x W | 42L x 29.7W centimetres | | Item Highlight | Fineliner, felt tip and pencil, 29.7 x 42 cm, glued at the top, no feathering or show-through, German mill since 1784 | | Item Type Name | Bristol Paper pad A3 | | Item Weight | 1.3 kg | | Manufacturer | Reflex | | Manufacturer Part Number | VF5004291 | | Material Type | Paper | | Model Number | VF5004291 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Paper Dimensions | A3 | | Paper Finish | Smooth | | Recommended Uses For Product | Stift, Tinte, Filzstift, Fineliner, Bleistift | | Sheet Count | 50 | | Style | Bristol Paper (180gsm) | | Unit Count | 50.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Schoellershammer - **Colour:** Black/White - **Material:** Paper - **Paper Dimensions:** A3 - **Paper finish:** Smooth ## Images ![Bristol Paper Pad A3, 50 Sheets, 180gsm, Smooth White, Pen Ink Marker - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71uDpXV6KTL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size, Style** options. ## Frequently Bought Together - Schoellershammer Bristol Paper Pad A3, 50 Sheets, 180gsm White Paper, Black/White VF5004291 - CANSON XL Bristol 180gsm A4 Paper, Very Smooth, Spiral Pad Short Side, 50 Extra White Sheets, Ideal for Professional Artists & Illustrators - Faber-Castell 9000 Art Set 12 x Pencils --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/80346634-bristol-paper-pad-a3-50-sheets-180gsm-smooth-white-pen](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/80346634-bristol-paper-pad-a3-50-sheets-180gsm-smooth-white-pen) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
