It does have this stringent “burning chemicals” smell when it first goes on. After it dries that smell goes fully away along with any gross smells after a few saturated sprayings. Only takes one spray on normal odors. Get a 1 or 2 gallon pump sprayer if you have animals and keep it around for accidents. I keep one pump sprayer with a dog safe sanitizer and another with the odorcide. I have been using it regularly for an elderly dog that has frequent accidents that can’t be avoided for the last 7 months. Even using it almost daily the bottle is still over half full because it’s so concentrated.
