Directions were very easy to understand. Installation was very easy and they operated just as they were intended. Overall construction seem to be very good. I'm just not sure about the longevity of the chords or the mechanisms that run it up and down. It's not top quality, but for the price the quality level is completely acceptable. It fit as expected, installed quickly and easily, and operates well. As another reviewer mentioned, if you mount it inside a window casing (as most people will) it will require screws that are not included. Kreg Pocket Hole screws work perfectly for this.
