We’ve had it for about 8 weeks now and it gets frequent use. Very good for tug, and puppy seeks it out regularly to chew on his own.It is starting to develop a crack in the middle, but frankly it’s held up better than any other toy we’ve tried (he chewed his last giant rope toy in half in just a few days). If it does break I’ll happily buy another. I did notice something. The blue donut came packaged in a box & no odor. Your dog toy was sealed in cellophane & overpowering odor. Could your packaging be the problem?
