If you're spending $1000 on your heels, $17 isn't much to protect it in the long run. I taped this to the bottom of my Loubs and walked on concrete and snow with it. It did not come off or create any scratches. Works like a charm. I applied mine to brand new shoes and cut them to size - I wear size 11 US and these still have plenty of room.
