I ordered this dress in a medium size but it arrived as a large. Initially I was concerned as I feared it wouldn't fit me well, but the company was correct about ordering in a size larger than you actually wear - it fit me perfectly! I paired the costume with a flower wreath headdress and my heeled leather boots. It was a smash! I wore the ensemble to a local Celtic festival and received so many compliments from many different people. I had to hem the bottom of the overdress by about 3 inches as I'm 5'5''. No complaints whatsoever on the overdress. Ugh...now the chemise was a completely different story. The chemise was so cheap. It was to small, especially in the sleeves, I don't know how they expected someone who order a 3XL to fit into what looked like medium size arm sleeves. I had to buy another chemise because there was no seam allowance to alter to fit me. It made me very upset. Especially since I had to miss a renaissance weekend wearing the dress.
