I bought a second hand McCulloch 305 petrol strimmer which was in good condition but running a bit rough. Changed spark plug and fuel filter and removed spark arrested but the strimmer still lacked power and died if I gave it to much throttle. The only thing left was the fuel mixture but mcculloch say not to adjust this as it's set in the factory. I saw it needed a small splined socket so took a chance on this set as the sizes shown seemed about right. Bingo one of the tools fitted exactly. A quarter turn off the mixture screw anti clockwise and wow. It's now like a new strimmer with loads power. So glad I took the chance.
